My insurance company contacted Heattech due to a leaking radiator pipe in my living room, Stephen Clark of Heattech attended to look at the problem and told my partner he didn't have the materials but he would be back in touch the next day, he failed to contact us and ignored calls and voicemails. After two weeks of zero contact we went back to the insurance company who told us they had spoken to Stephen and he would be in contact within 24 hours, once again he failed to make contact with us. After multiple attempts we managed to talk to him only to be told he was driving and he would call back, again he didn't call back. I had to refer this back to my insurance company as at this point it had been almost 4 weeks since his initial visit. My partner then received a text asking when she was available for him to come and do the work - she gave one date that she wasn't available and said the rest she could work around him ( at this point the leak was causing damage to the flooring/odour etc), and Stephen said he would get back to her. 2 weeks later we hadn't heard anything so referred it yet again back to the insurance company who said Stephen would be in touch within 24 hours. 48 Hours later we received a text stating he was free but only on the date my partner had already told him she was unavailable, my partner was unable to alter her commitments so we advised Stephen that we couldn't manage that date. We heard nothing back and yet again had to refer back to our insurance company as at this point 8 weeks had passed since his initial visit and we still had a leaking pipe in our living room that was causing other issues. After being advised numerous times by our insurance company that Stephen would be back in touch we managed to find another plumber online who completed the job within 12 hours of our initial contact. We advised the insurance company that the work had been completed and we no longer required heattechs services. Stephen then managed to find the time to send my partner unsolicited text messages when he had no need to contact her. These text messages were deemed highly innapropriate by my partner and even when she asked him to stop sending her texts he carried on. This has been notified to both the insurance company and Humberside Police and not what we expected from a professional person.
Very dissapointed that we wasted almost 3 months waiting for Stephen to come and do a job that we were covered by our insurance for and he never came back, and in this time the leak caused further damage to our property.
Stephen advised my partner that he was ill in his last text ad while i have every sympathy for someone with any illness , from a professional stand point all it would have taken was a message to say he was unable to complete the work.
I have altered this review at Stephen request but added more detail and now I hope he will stop unnecessarily contacting my partner. Jan 9th, 2018
