In my opinion The Griffin are losing their most valuable trade of local and loyal drinkers on a daily basis. Not only do they increase their beer prices far in excess of the current market rate and try and justify this with posters they also charge 1.85 for a glass of Blackcurrant cordial with tap water. 10.00 for a poor looking pizza purchased by one of my friends for his son. Speaking with friends who are long term regulars the overall consensus is, lets find another local.There were less that 12 people in this afternoon so I suggest the landlady takes heed and makes some changes soon.

Too expensive other Holts pubs are cheaper, flat lager in old worn glasses still on the old CE mark, most staff are ill trained, only a few are courteous and friendly. I could go on, but none food customers are leaving in droves as the drinkers are being neglected.
