John Lewis Cheadle

DONT BUY APPLE PRODUCTS FROM JOHN LEWIS. The warranty looks good but they return all products to apple on a 30 day return - its same day service at Apple. The staff at John Lewis (Cheadle) are getting quite rude, no empathy - just a shrug of the shoulders and "it is what it is" attitude - totally the opposite at Apple - polite, professional and friendly and repaired within 1/2 hour.

I visited yesterday afternoon with my daughter, who at the last minute decided she would like some sandals, my daughter has additional needs and struggles with shopping trips as its a major sensory overload. After visiting several shops with non in her size, we nipped into John lewis and were greeted by Yvonne on the children's department. We explained about my daughters needs, Yvonne went for a rummage in the shoes and brought out a good selection for her to try. Yvonne engaged with my daughter taking the time to find out her interests, in-between my daughter having movement breaks and wandering off. She respected my daughters spacial boundaries by asking was it OK to remove the shoes, she praised her and kept reminding her of what shoes we were looking for (daughter gets distracted easily) at the end of the shoe shopping, Yvonne told me how well my daughter had coped, as a parent to a child with additional needs this is not often heard and it really touched my heart. She was an amazing lady and no doubt we will be back soon for the football boots my daughter was eyeing up. Thank you Yvonne, we really appreciated you making a stressful outing 100 times easier. Credit to the store (children's shoes/baby department)

Knew what we wanted before going. Plenty of staff on hand to answer the questions we had. Quick and efficient service
