I am very happy with the implant carried out by Georgios, ably assisted by Jade. I would also like to thank the rest of the team members for the excellent service provided.

I attended Dental Care Plus now called Cheadle Dental and Implant clinic 2016 -2022 and was orginally under the care of Stephen Garner. I came into this practice for implants top and bottom and ended up with some implants and a top and Bottom Bridge in the middle of my jaw. I was told by Mr Garner that he could not fit implants in that part of my upper jaw. My experience over the first three years was like being stuck in a revolving door. I later discovered that my top jaw could in fact take implants. After the top bridge falling out a few times, and the Tanium pin snapping, and after two holes appeared in my top gum I had no other option but to ask Stephen Garner to correct his bad workmanship. That did not go down well and he refused to contact his indemnity provider to cover the cost of correcting his work. I then asked Bupa to intervene, they refused and it was then I realised the Bupa name is just that and had nothing behind that name like empathy or ability to hold their specialist to account, because they are all self-employed. Stephen Garner retired shortly after that and the practice changed all its staff. I stayed with this new practice still under Bupa and had my top bridge replaced by their new specialist who did a very good job and is obviously at the top of his profession. He used the same X-Rays Mr Garner used. I paid Bupa another 10,000 on top of the other 16,000 I had already paid Mr Garner to have his substandard work removed and replaced with top middle implants. I will at some stage have to address my bottom middle bridge. This new dental practice has nothing to do with what Stephen Garner did to me. Trevor Mooney (Manchester)
