        Mount Tabor House is one of the closest lodgings to the National Tramway Museum, the best Trolley/Tram museum in the English-speaking world, which is also known as Crich Tramway Village. Mount Tabor House's owners are very pleasant and welcoming. I stayed there in 2005 since I am a rabid train enthusiast and make a point of visiting the tramway museum whenever visiting the UK. A few minutes ago, I reserved a room for summer of 2014. The building is a converted church with stained glass windows. The food is gourmet grade. Transportation to nearby BR train stations is available as is free parking.
