If this review was just about the rendering finish it would be 5 stars as we love the improved curb appeal of our house. However, there were other issues during the work that were messy & unprofessional. 1. Dan & his team did not mask our drive, gravel boards, fence and surrounding area sufficiently & has to this day left staining, even after several jet wash attempts by myself. 2. There was also an issue with a virgin media cable that should have been channelled into the brick work before the base layer was applied and which left an unsightly black cable dangling in front of white render. After complaining about this as this should have been discussed ahead of the work, and before I agreed to send the monies, Dan reluctantly agreed to knock 100 of the bill to allow me to get virginmedia in to reroute the cable. 3. Finally, and what still remains unresolved is the fact that Dan and his team removed our dry verge edging from our roof edge to ensure a professional finish to the render. However, this was replaced incorrectly and has since blown down leaving me with a 220 bill to get it all replaced. I had to get Dan to send one of his team back at the time as the top cap had not been fitted correctly, however he got stung attempting to refit and refused to complete it. Dan then arranged for the Scaffolding to be taken down the following day leaving me with ill fitting edging. I had to ask my builder who was at the house completing other work to go up a ladder and refit the cap end. 8 pieces of the edging has blown off during the night some off which had 6 inch nails still attached. I have left several voice mail messages and my builder has also spoken to Dan about the issue, but at the time of writing this, he refuses to engage and discuss a resolution. Dan has done a fantastic job rendering a new extension, garage and front of the house. He always arrived on time even when quoting. He advised us on colour choices and took time to ensure we were happy From start to finish he and his team treated our house with respect and acted professionally. We couldnt be happier with the result and would highly recommend.
