My entire experience with Physiolink was poor. At my first in-person visit (following a phone consultation), the physiotherapist, Rohan, didn't work with me to check the mobility in my joints, how I walked and stood, etc. I was going for lower back pain, which I have an on-going issue with because of a spinal abnormality in my lower back. Because this isn't an injury but a skeletal abnormality, I've had it all my life and am well educated about it and have had treatment before, so generally know what to expect. He barely spoke to me, but went straight to manipulation (deep tissue massage, really), which was painful but he wouldn't listen to me when I asked him to ease up on the pressure. At the end of the session, I had to ask what was next and he told me he'd send me some stretches - without checking at all to see what I already do in terms of stretching and strengthening. I tried to speak to him about this over the phone and he wasn't receptive to it - I told him my lower back pain often was linked to having tight hip flexors and he insisted that there's not connection between the two. A quick google search makes it clear there is (plus, anatomically, it's a pretty easy connection to make). So either he doesn't know a basic physio concept or he lied. He also told me I needed to build up to working on my core strength but wasn't at the stage yet where I could do crunches or planks, etc. I do both of these as part of my regular exercise routine AND to help with the back pain and haven't stopped, so he just assumed core strength was the issue without actually speaking to me about it, and after I'd told him several times that I work out regularly and am very active. I could have provided him with a lot of information about how to effectively treat me had he asked me questions and listened to me.

Latest review was a year ago. No longer in this premises. No new address to let you know when you arrive. Had to cancel appointment which was moved to 2 week later. Constant pain for 4 months between appointments.(plus 2 weeks) I am suffering due to bad IT issues as emails not getting through to me for a mysterious reason. I got a friend to.phone for appointment privately and guess what ..... offered appointment for next week.
