I booked a flight on the 11th August 2022 for my partner, the flight was scheduled for 3rd September 2022. I called the night before as directed and was greeted by an automated message stating the flight had been cancelled owing to poor weather which is fully understandable. Slightly surprised as the weather the following day happened to be some of the best we've seen this year, but again, accept that the forecast can often get it wrong but didn't think that wrong... I phoned back to rebook and again was unable to get through and was greeted by automated messages. Over thr next 3 weeks I phoned back 4 times and was greeted by a gentleman who requested I call back later as they were driving. I finally spoke to him on 5th October and at this stage just wanted a refund which I was surprised to learn wasn't possible and was quickly told that I could book another flight within a year but a refund wasn't possible as it just wasn't, with no clear rationale other than it states it on the website. His effusive demeanour quickly evaporated once I asked reasonable questions in relation to consumer rights and asking for a refund for a service I no longer required. Looking at other reviews this appears to be a familiar concern. I'm sure the experience is very enjoyable and not discounting other positive experiences but can only say from my own, the service, flexibility and communication leaves alot to be desired. I fully expect to get a defensive response to this review from the company as others have, but I have tried to be as objective as possible. I don't often write negative reviews but would contend they put as much effort into reflecting on feedback as they do defending their position, they might get less of these.

We had our flight booked for almost a year before we had it on the 28th of May, and although we had several dates for the flight before this the weather had been to windy or it was raining. But we understood that safety was the deciding factor. When we arrived at the location for our flight,we were met by Tony,and he explained what was going to happen in regards to setting up the Baloon ect. Although we helped there was no pressure to do so,as the ground crew were fantastic. When it was time to fly me and the wife climbed in the basket with much trepidation and some fear. But I can honestly say after about 10 minutes, we were both loving the flight, Tony was very informative and great fun and the views were amazing across Tenterden, and Rolvenden and France could be seen easily . What a fantastic evening and great flight and landing. Thank you Sky bus Ballooning for an amazing experience.

We attempted quite a few times to fly but it happened Saturday 14th May and really was worth the wait. We flew from Hawkhurst and landed in Cranbrook. Such a surreal experience being up in the air looking down at the amazing views. Big thank you to Tony the Pilot
