We had on overnight stay here last weekend as we were visiting the area. Friendly staff and warm welcome. Didn't use the golf course. Our room was above the kitchens (room 9) so was a bit noisy (sounded like a noisy fan till late at night) and it was a bit dated but otherwise very comfortable and well equipped. We had dinner in the evening. The restaurant is lovely but our food took 45 minutes to arrive. When it did it was lovely.

the service really bad, we just late for check out about 30 minutes. and was explaining the reason late because we have baby need to readying for them before to go with long journey, but still over charged. the restaurant very disappointed as well. was booked in at 8pm but have to wait until 9pm to service. not recommend ! if you would come and have plenty time and dont mind to wait you can come if not you should find somewhere else. never come back!! thank you anyway xx

We had a fantastic stay with our two small children. We stayed in one of the cottage suites which had French doors looking out over the pond. Our 4yr old enjoyed the duck that came to the doors both mornings for his breakfast. The breakfast was delicious too. Thank you for a fantastic couple of days away. Rooms: Would definitely recommend the cottage suite with small children

Stayed for dinner bed and breakfast. Lovely room, clean and spacious. The dining room experience, however, was poor. It took 2 hours for us to be served 3 courses. The starter, a prawn dish, had 3 small prawns! The fish pie ( a main) was 70% mashed potato, I found 2 prawns, 2 pieces of cod and no salmon (menu said salmon was in it). Would have had more fish in an Admirals fish pie frozen meal. Great selection for breakfast but they got our order wrong, as they did for the people on the next table. Food here is hugely over priced in my opinion.
