Rik Roberts: Guitar, Ukulele, Banjo Tuition

I have been taking banjo lessons with Rik. He is not only an incredibly talented musician, but also a knowledgeable and patient teacher ; his teaching methods have really enabled me to progress. If you are thinking of taking lessons, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rik.

I have wanted to learn to play the guitar for years. 18 months ago I started lessons with Rik and haven't looked back. Rik is an excellent teacher who clearly enjoys what he does. Not only has he helped me to learn the styles of music that I enjoy but he has also introduced me to a whole range of material that I'd never considered but now love. I'm very happy with the progress I'm making with Rik and would strongly recommend him to anyone looking to learn guitar.

I started taking lessons with Rik about 5 years ago. And I still enjoy his weekly jam sessions as well as taking specifically focused lessons. In all of this I have always found him to be truly professional, caring and inspirational. Whilst I have (considerable) further room for improvement he has definitely transformed my playing. I would recommend Rik to anyone wanting to improve their playing regardless of level or style (he does everything!).
