Antares Wood Floors Ltd

I highly recommend using Antares. Has been a stress-free and super successful experience and I am thrilled with the floors which parquet-expert Dean has laid. Dean kept the site clean and tidy and was really communicative about the job as it rolled out. Couldn't be happier.

We had Antares install our solid wood floor to most of the downstairs area of our house in December 2017. 3 years on it looks the same as it did when it was first laid. We use the Bona spray mop and Bona spray for wood floors to clean it. At no time use water. I would recommend anyone to consider a quote from Antares, the workmanship was fantastic and the fitters and shop staff are very knowledgable. Even after 3 years they are more than happy to discuss any questions. Very pleased indeed.

The quality of the fitted floor is great. The experience as a customer was terrible. Communication was non-existent. The job was left incomplete for weeks, with equipment left in our house for the duration. In all the time before the job was complete, we had to make a succession of calls to chase Antares and received only one phone call from them in that time, and that call was about dropping off more equipment at our house. There was zero proactivity from Antares, absolutely no customer care, and a fairly half-hearted apology on the second or third call we made to chase them up. It's extremely disappointing to find a supplier who actually does good work but ruins it with such poor customer service that working with them is a bit of a nightmare. In time we will need more wooden flooring in our house, but unfortunately we won't be using Antares. EDIT - the response from Antares below is a major misrepresentation of events and underlines the issues with customer service outlined above.

This is the second purchase of an engineered oak floor from Antares. Their service and patience in helping us to choose the right flooring for our new build property were invaluable. The Fitters were a delight, highly skilled and very polite. I would certainly recommend them to you.
