Maine Konrad

We hired Maine Konrad for a major renovation project after being impressed by work they had undertaken for us previously. The team appeared out of their depth on a large project such as this and made numerous rookie errors throughout, including but not limited to: 1. Causing serious damage to our roof after shooting a nail gun through the slates, resulting in a 5,000 repair bill (of which only 800 was covered by Maine Konrad). 2. Destruction of original Victorian fireplace tiles whilst sanding floors as a result of improper preparation. 3. The team did not correctly measure skirting and architrave lengths, resulting in odd looking gaps between floor and architrave and an uneven finish. 4. Decorating work in the hallway was carried out to a very poor standard (see attached photos). To top it off, around three months after the team left site I was informed that I would be better off finding someone else to finish the job (despite having been promised that they would return to fix multiple issues).

Karl and the team redecorated our entire house .They did a thorough and excellent job which we are very happy with. I have no hesitation in recommending Karl's work and will use him in future should we required any other decorating jobs.

Karl and his son decorated our hall, stairs and landing, removing the most tenacious woodchip in the process. They were at all times very considerate and extremely good with time keeping, letting us know their movements which we have found is unusual with trades people in general. They were tidy, helpful and polite, a pleasure to have in our home. The price quoted is what we paid even though the work proved to be a little more involved than first anticipated. We were extremely pleased with the finish and the colour Karl recommended was spot on. Very well done Karl and Martin!

Maine Konrad were recommended to us via a friend. Decorators were prompt each day. Polite and were happy to spend time with us running through our ideas and offering advice. We have an old house and the staircases and hallways have a stunning finish- far better than expected. Really impressed! This company cleaned and hoovered after each days work and you would be hard pushed to find a more professional service. They just go on with the job and were ultra efficient. We would recommend them to anyone. Top marks Maine Konrad!!

We found this company to be entirely professional in every aspect of our dealings with them. Their quotation was very competitive, and they did a very good job of decorating our bedroom, with great attention to detail, keeping us involved throughout the process. Nothing was too much trouble, for example we changed our minds about something during the decorating, and that was dealt with efficiently and promptly, the work was done in the time estimated, and the cherry on the cake was that they left us a bottle of wine to thank us for our custom! I would heartily recommend this company.
