        Called to enquire about putting blinds up in our office. I agreed to his quote only to be told that he only accepts cash and is unable to provide my business with an invoice for his services. Clearly dodging tax. Response to owner: You don't need to be VAT registered, it is a legal requirement for any business operating in the UK to invoice when selling goods or services. You cannot complete a tax return without this data, which you would know had you ever completed one.
