Sorry to say the two flat white coffees we had today were just insipid . Probably the worst coffee I have ever bought. We both agreed that they were just awful. Really a huge disappointment. couldn't go back as we were heading back to Brighton. Hopefully it was just a bad day, but an expensive mistake as we probably would have got a proper flat white from a Costa machine in the Co-op if they had one. Yes I am the same customer. I didn't make any comment about the coffee being less hot than I had hoped for. I prefer not to drink my coffee less than Hot, your coffee was at a heat that I could drink in one go. It is hard to explain. I prefer to drink my coffee slowly at a pleasant heat not just above warm. What bothered us both was the taste was insipid, not rich creamy at satisfying. This coffee was like drinking warm milk with a dash of coffee..Am I wrong that a flat white is two shots of coffee? I realise I was short with the young lady at this point ( having been very friendly to her before having to return) but having to return to the shop, then her just replacing the coffee to the level I had returned it seemed petty and less than generous towards an unhappy customer. To be honest I had expected both coffees to be remade from scratch when I returned them not just re- steamed. I looked to see if you had a web site to see if I could mail you direct but because I couldn't find a site I only had the option of this format to make my complaint. I stand by both our opinion that the flat white coffee was not anything but insipid.
