Arrived with my 92 year old father with Alzheimers. He was forced to wait 5minutes by staff chatting absent-mindedly to a previous customer they knew very well. I eventually ignored them & took my Dad to sit down on one of their interview chairs. Barbaric culture!

Not provided full range of services. Staff are ok. This branch is not on the level as they should be. I'm disappointed.

Had banking issues to tidy up for an elderly friend who's an HSBC customer, and the ladies there handled it straight away, with understanding, professional care & diligent research. I have to give 5 Stars. Extremely impressive!

HSBC ~Haywards Heath. Staff very pleasant and helpful. However no counter service. I cannot even get change for the plethora of things we still need small change for. ie laundry car parks tips buskers (yes them too) Coinage is as yet not obsolete and yet my bank has none. I was told I could get change at Burgess Hills branch. Hmm thats a useful 20 mins drive away. Or queue at the post office. Why on earth cant a bank have a Change machine. Its so basic and inside a bank so its secure. The situation is exacerbated by the fact no other bank will give you change unless you bank with them which I also find unbelievable. We may be a society driven by cards but we seem to be going backwards in service. Just ridiculous.
