The bod pie was amazing, chicken and black pudding out of this world. Stayed here with the motor home can not fault the place will defo be back 5 stars by all 6 of us.

Nice place, proper old tradition pub and restaurant. Food was amazing. Ate there for 2 days in a row and nothing was a disappointment. Lamb shank was beautiful, beef pie was amazing. Reservation recommended, walk ins were turned away and this was in March. Staff friendly and helpful. Not a cheap place, but not extortionate and worth it.

Visited 2 nights running when staying nearby because we were so impressed the first night. Big portions with such tasty food. can highly recommend the Can't wait to return back when we're in the area. Highly recommend their famous bog pie! I recommend booking no matter the night as they were turning people away both nights

Came on a cold winters night. The fire was roaring and the menu was plentiful. We opted for the potato skins and chicken supreme for the main meal. The food was perfect as was the service. We will be back!
