When we booked we recieved an email with the postcode which was a different postcode to were the venue was located. We tried to call the number given in the email which belonged to someone who no longer was involved in the business however he was very helpful and directed us to the correct location. On arrival it initially looked nice however there was a strong smell of foist and the cats where in and out of our accommodation where we stayed which wasnt the best experience. There was barely any lightbulbs thst worked. The outdoor light did not work for use of tblhe jaccuzzi in the dark and nor did the lights in the jaccuzi work. The jacuzzi jets where diabolical they should really advertise it as an outdoor bath. Very disapointing the pictures look the part but disappointing stay. We advised the person who owned it that things where not adequate and to offer feedback but found her response to be very rude. So unfortunately we wont stay here again and wouldnt advise anyone else to waste there money.

On first arrival we were so happy with the lodge. However, the hot tub was so poor. Was dirty and had the jets didnt work. Was basically a warm bath. It did get cleaned the next day but no difference.. Its a good job this lodge is getting updated as there was no privacy in the bathroom (as a pre existing wall had been removed). So when one couple was in bed asleep the other couple could not use the toilet in private. There was cobwebs everywhere, which i suppose could be expected, however these were also on the shower head. Which indicated to us the bath etc hadnt been cleaned before we got there. We booked this lodge in Febuary. And paid half of the stated balance..However the week before we got there the owner messaged and said we had been charged the wrong price and needed to pay 100 more. As there had been a glitch with the online calculator. Which wasnt really our problem and had taken her 12 weeks to work this out. When we never paid the owner did come to the lodge. Our son had been dropped off poorly so we had to pay for him staying (which is totally undersrandable) however she did say if we didnt pay this money straight away she could kick us out of the lodge. We reluctantly paid the money. Just a warning for people looking to book. Dont take your confirmation email as the guaranteed price shocking really.
