Great experience I do recommend service its spot on tasty breakfast, cozy rooms ,worm welcome but I would recommend booking the room with bath tub it's much bigger, you get in all rooms coffee mashine milk and coffe pods ,tea and sugar . The hive it's located in small village there is few pubs and shops they got lovely tasty and fresh food around the corner there is fresh ice cram shop I be going there later on to check it out but in general its worth to visit .

Terrible customer service. Had to cancel shortly before trip but within cancellation period. No response to emails and calls at all, even more than a week later. No refund of deposit or offer to reschedule as per policy. Mobile number provided was missing a digit. To add insult to injury they attempted to charge for full duration of stay.

I couldnt recommend this little gem enough. Wonderful staff, homely hotel and room, truly fantastic food and service all round. Make sure you book a table at the restaurant because it fills up quickly. The manager was very kind enough to squeeze me in on a fully booked night. And once youve tasted the food you understand why its so busy. The best meal Ive had in a very long time. Theyre a couple of pubs in the area too, all filled with very friendly locals. Only 15 minutes drive from Coniston Water and Windermere. Honestly couldnt have been a better experience, I cant wait to go back.
