Best place to stay in Hawkshead or the surrounding area. Quality accommodation, luxurious bathroom etc, etc. Conveniently close to the village and associated pubs and shops. The co-op store is well stocked for anything you may need. Tip, if you're not into self catering as we aren't, ensure you book a table in advance at the local restaurant we used the Queens Head and found it to be good quality with great beers. Have been to this place five times in total, twice with family in Holly Croft and three times in Ivy Croft as a couple (this is our preferred lodge).
