We have just arrived home from a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. The cottage was lovely and warm and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen-diner is well fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer and is well equipped. its situated in a great spot with plenty of walks nearby. Judith and John, who own the cottage, were very helpful and welcoming and i wouldn't hesitate in going back.

What a lovely cottage in a picturesque location on a small farm. The owners are very welcoming and the cottage itself is very well equipped. The beds are super comfy and the newly installed kitchen has everything you need. The location is perfect for exploring Tarn Hows, Grizedale forest, Hawkshead and the nearest lakes of Windermere and Coniston.

What an idyllic spot, lovely and peaceful yet so conveniently placed to catch the local bus into Hawkshead or Coniston for provisions. Early morning walks to Tarn Harns were a treat. We were here for a week and could have happily stayed longer. Comfortable space for the two of us. A traditional Lakes cottage. Lovely master bedroom upstairs. Nice kitchen to cook in and then eat lunch and dinner outside as we were treated to glorious weather. Cosy lounge to snuggle up in for the evening. Will definitely look at a future stay.

Great little cottage ,heating & gas adding at cost when you leave ,would prefer it in with weekly rate ,cottage clean & well equipped, but think parking would be better if the back of cottage was used to be able to turn ,as reverseing back through narrow path after loading case etc a bit of a hassle ,then parking away from cottage on farm front also having to manuver into space not what you want after a drive ,
