        Lovely country pub with a bowling green at the back and seating at the front. Friendly staff, good choice of classic Rock music (just loud enough to hear, not blasting). Well stocked bar with some cask ales, I chose a pint of red witch IPA very nice. Sunday lunch looked nice with a choice of either lamb or beef. But on this occasion we went for the Waggon Burgers, very juicy and thick on a brioche bun. For afters we had the chocolate orange cheesecake with vanilla icecream and 2 spoons to share. Thanks for a pleasant afternoon guys .

        Lovely local pub in the a little village near Ramsbottom where you can choose between a drink in the main room or a full meal in the front one. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was very cosy and friendly. We were staying in the area with friends and we would definetively come back.
