Totally incompetent, took them over 4 months to submit a referral form I'd completed and handed in to reception (after several phonecalls asking about it).

Whilst understanding there is nationwide issues with GP shortages my whole experience with hawkinge & ealham valley practice can only be described as appalling, having been with this GP practice for over one year i have yet to see a GP, countless phone calls to make an appointment and again and again and again told no, call back the next day, go to walk in centre or accident and emergency, telephone staff who have no time for you and just want you off the phone. Im left speechless and this level of service which seriously needs looking at and changing as quickly as possible. The only reason i would use the GP service is for GP related issues and not walk in centres or A&E, my health is important and nipping any issues with my health is critical. Any contact with this surgery has made my health worse through sheer frustration and stress.

Phoned today after being told by 111 to enquire with a local GP practice about an urgent in-person consultation. Phoned here and spoke to someone who was entirely unhelpful, seemingly rude and, in essence, told me to go elsewhere. I am frankly shocked.

Always impressed and happy with the service I and my family receive. All of the support staff are friendly and kind not atall the stereotype of a doctors Rottweiler receptionist they just dont exist at this surgery. Thank you so much you all really make a difference x

Please can the GPs talk on the phone rather than on speaker phone as the rooms echo badly & it becomes near on impossible to understand what is being said. Otherwise helpful today!
