        We finished day one of The Herriot Way having walked from Aysgarth. Claudia and Mike gave us a very warm welcome, made great recommendations for where to go for dinner, and provided a fabulous breakfast. You can really tell how much they care about their B&B, because it's so clean, warm and inviting. We slept very well in a comfortable bed, and our room had a nice view of Wensleydale's fells. There are numerous accommodations in Hawes, but if we ever return, we'll definitely stay here again.

        Absolutely delightful bed and breakfast with friendly, accommodating hosts. Very high standard of cleanliness, furnishings and toiletries but with a home from home feel. We were greeted with homemade scones with clotted cream and locally sourced jam, perfect. The breakfast was delicious too. This is a brilliant base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Looking forward to returning....
