Tony and his team were great from start to finish. I had a vision for what I wanted and with Tonys help, together we were able to successfully capture what I had planned. Really friendly and professional, cant fault them at all. Reasonably priced comparing with other competitors in the area. If I could give more stars I would.

I contracted Garden Aspect (GA) to do the hard landscaping of my front and rear gardens for tens of thousands of pounds. This entailed a new patio, lawn, beds and trellis and a new sloping driveway. They completed 80% of the work and then walked off. It ended badly and the process, management, communication and attitude were poor although some of the work was decent. Firstly, Id ordered my own paving and informed GA the delivery was planned for three weeks time. GA decided to dig up my driveway straightaway. As a result, I had a mud field at the entrance of my house which builders had to walk through daily as they refurbished my house. Id ordered trellises with Jacksons fencing. I asked GA to change the dimensions of the initial order but they failed to do so and the resulting trellis that was delivered had to be returned and a new trellis delivered weeks later. GA were blas with details. Following these problems I made clear that work on a bin store couldnt start until other works were completed. They agreed. The next day they started construction of the bin store, completely ignoring what we agreed. When I pointed this out I was brushed off again. Previously I had recommended GA to my neighbour as they were based at my house and it would be convenient. Later I shared my misgivings and she said she had experienced similar problems. I would speak to the project manager, George, in person, but then was expected to email a separate project manager, Jenny. She seemed to regard me as an annoyance and I didnt know if something I agreed with George was going to be agreed by her. I had to send repeated photos of problems to her throughout the works because she wasnt on site. During the works I asked GA repeatedly to keep my house free from soil. They didnt really do it and I regularly had to sweep and pick up after them. Im still finding their cigarette butts in my flower beds. The final straw involved the laying of my driveway. The drive had to be laid at the right height so the front gate could open. I ensured the gate company and GA had two meetings to discuss this but GA laid the drive too high so the gates couldnt open. GA's very casual approach to past details and poor communication didn't inspire much confidence and again they denied responsibility. I insisted they relay part of the drive. They eventually did but then refused to come back and complete the remaining works. I asked for a breakdown of their accounts to show what I had paid for but wasnt given one. On top of all this GA have refused to come back and clean up their mess- half the beds in my front garden were left scattered with concrete and broken paving. I now have to find a new landscaper to fix the mess they left and complete the unfinished work. They basically ghosted me. George wouldnt answer my calls and my emails werent responded to for days. I called Tony, GAs owner, five times. He never picked up. I should say that the work that was completed is done to a decent standard. However, their poor management and lack of communication meant I regret using them. Ive got a lot of experience with builders and GA made quite simple work longer and harder than it needed to be. Unless they make significant management changes you should not use them. Service: Garden landscaping
