Not the best place to work if I'm honest. Not only they slaughter chickens, they slaughter morale of the workers. When I joined, I explained my personal set of circumstances and was still employed considering those circumstances . They fill you with the whole 'family comes first' nonsence and when you need to use that philosophy, it's used against you for disciplinary reasons. Zero compassion or understanding. I can categorically say, if 3 or 4 of the current staff left, the place would be on its knees.

A huge THANK YOU to David Peart for the 22 years of service he has devoted to Diaper Poultry. His dedication to this family business has been above and beyond, no matter what the hour of the day or day of the week. As joint operations manager he has always put the business first and worked through a flood, fire, Covid 19 and the everyday issues to ensure the continuity of the business and lead and support the whole team. He has worked closely alongside David Diaper to focus on the planning, programming and production aspect of the business and together with Sarah joint operations manager, they strived to guide the business through its most difficult period of the pandemic together with the hard work and resilience of an excellent team on the farms, at the factory and on transport behind them. His professionalism and loyalty are highly valued by David Diaper and the staff who have worked closely with him. His presence at Diaper Poultry will be greatly missed but he moves onto a new opportunity in his career where his new employer will benefit from his experience and integrity. Sincere thanks and best wishes to you David.
