Rooms: 7 rooms that can be made up as doubles or twins each with an en suite. Nearby activities: For a small town Hathersage has plenty to offer- including an outdoor swimming pool. Walkability: Everything you might want to visit in Hathersage is within easy walking distance. Food & drinks: There is a variety of eateries , bars and restaurants in Hathersage . We dined at the Scotsmans Pack which we would recommend. Noteworthy details: The view!

We had a wonderful stay at Sladen Lodge. Lovely view from the garden where we sat for lunch. Great location, really convenient. The bed rooms are comfortable and a good size and we were so impressed by how well equipped the kitchen is. Would recommend. Noteworthy details: Really well equipped. Lots of space. Well set up for groups with room to all sit around the table for a meal or feel cozy in the lounge space.

There were 9 of us staying for a walking weekend. The property was excellent, good layout and plenty of room for eating, cooking at relaxing. The location was spot on with plenty of walks from the door. I can recommend the Scotsman Pack for pub food. The host had a large carrot cake waiting for us in the fridge, which was a nice touch. We would definitely return.

We stayed at Sladen Lodge between Christmas and New Year and it was perfect for our large family! The location was perfect for getting out into the Peak District or to simply just enjoy Hathersage (as it's so close!). The house was exceptional with every room having an en suite and catered for all ages (from Grandparents to Grandchildren). Will definitely be back. The Carrot Cake that was left for us was a lovely touch (and yummy!)
