        Very nice cafe, with very good service and delicious food. Worth a visit if in the area

        Regularly pass through Hathersage and this cafe always seems to be busy so was pleased today it wasn't so we stopped by. Service was slow staff were distracted chatting away to obviously a regular customer. Limited Sandwich menu so decided to have a coffee and get on the road. Coffee was cold , the latte appeared to have been forgotten to be heated. Gave 2 stars because the nice lady offered to remake them (properly) for us but we didn't have time and had to leave. A refund would have been acceptable but not even offered so paid for something and got nothing. All in all a very disappointing first visit. This review is based on our visit and our experience.

        We just love going to Colemans Deli. The staff are just lovely and friendly and the food is fresh and coffee fab. I often go for the salad bowl or the tuna toasties, my grandchildren clamour for the cakes and slices, it's a real treat in the heart of Hathersage... I use it as an after school pick up treat or a stop off on an epic cycle in the Peaks to refuel. There is a safe place to keep an eye on your bike and sit outside...perfect.

        Lovely spot to have lunch in Hathersage. Great salads. Good selection of vegetarian options and AMAZING cakes. The rhubarb and custard blondie was fabulous.
