This is the Peak District National Park Ranger station. It is next door to Padley Chapel. The caf at Grindleford station is also well worth a visit. Beside the track between the cafe and Brunts Barn is the Brunts Barn Ecology Project / Nature Park. This area is available for pre-booked groups to experience nature hands-on, with various different habitats and three small ponds for dipping and watching insects. Limited parking is available on the road down to the station, which is now pay and display. A great base for walks and exploring the area.
