Outstanding Kennels. My two Sharpei, Candy and George have been here twice now. They are not the most confident dogs, not mega keen on new people and can be very reactive. I was so so nervous leaving them first time round, but Anna and the wonderful kennel hand staff always put my mind at ease. Candy and George now love the staff and really enjoy their stay and run on the field, even jumping up to the staff for fusses from them which is a massive achievement for them! My dog, Sandy, is kenneled with Ad Astra whenever I go away. The care that the animals receive is excellent and the kennels and cattery are kept totally clean and hygienic. I know this as I worked there for a time and wouldn't entrust Sandy to anyone else. The owner, Anna, is an animal lover as are the staff she employs. So, while she is obviously running a business, she genuinely cares for the animals in her care. The dogs enjoy 3 walks every day and everyone of them gets a bedtime treat. I would like to recommend Ad Astra to all dog and cat owners who are looking for somewhere for their pets to stay with people who will give them loving care, while they are on holiday or for whatever reason.
