Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Hatfield

Everything went smoothly from start to end This being my first time at car rental, Id say the Hatfield branch were patient and helpful.

BEEN CALLING NOW FOR 28 MINUTES JUST RINGS - NOBODY BOTHERS PICKING UP THE PHONE ILL GO TO THRIFTY STILL CALLING THEM 33 MINUTES !!! CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH ENTERPRISE IS PANTS DO NOT USE THESE MUPPETS THEY ARE USELESS

I have recently been given a hire car through my insurance while my car was in garage for repair. At the time of booking I have requested Enterprise to give any car except Vauxhall. They gave me Vauxhall saying they will replace it few days, which they did not. Secondly, they have given in the car in a very poor state. The car was extremely low on fuel, below the red mark (reserve tank), the car didn't have windscreen washing up liquid, engine oil change indicator on.

They completely failed us the last 2 times. The first time, booked and paid the day before. Went to collect the van at chosen time, only to be told they don't have anything available. I had to reschedule everything. Second time, we booked in the morning but changed of plan so canceled in the morning. But they charged 40 for cancellation. Even though when you pay it says "cancel anytime". Customer service say the "cancel anytime" is only for when you pay at collection, not prepay. Apparently you have to go to another section to find out about that. Very misleading. Customer service is at its worst. Will never come to them again.
