        We have been hiring this hall for one day for a number of years. Our entire family come from different parts of the country either just before or just after Christmas and we have ourselves a wonderful gathering. We order a takeaway, which is delivered, we eat our meal, the eleven grandchildren play chase, hiding or dancing to our music. Then half an hour before its time up, we clear the hall, kitchen and toilets down, sweep the floors, bag our rubbish, lock up and off we go to our respective homes. We have a wonderful time and the Village Hall staff are fantastic, we never have any problem with the full return of our deposit within days. All done, happy memories made, group photo taken and thats it until next year. Thank you to the committee.
