I discovered this gem of a website whilst searching online for a boardgame we wanted to get for a birthday. Not only was it cheaper here than elsewhere, the delivery was expedited to ensure it arrived to us in time - yes, I'd left it late too think about the gift - plus, even with delivery, it was still cheaper than popping into other better known stores to buy one! Their customer service (thanks Steve) was great, offering to courier it to me to avoid issues with the Royal Mail strikes - it arrived within two days of ordering, well packaged with a personal little "thanks for ordering" card too!

Please look at this wonderful, local and lovingly curated toy shop before resorting to Amazon! The customer service is second to none - I was able to get a last minute birthday present sorted just as quickly as using Prime delivery and the quality is sooo much better too. I am in love with the Djeco range. I think I've bought nearly all of it by now. Will be back to do my Christmas shopping for sure. Thank you.

Ive bought a number of things from After Alice for my son, who is a huge STEM enthusiast for Christmas. This shop was an absolute delight as there was so much to choose from and, if anything, I didnt know when to stop adding to my basket! Martines communication and customer service has been excellent and she has gone out of her way to give me recommendations based on her own familys use of the toys, which is refreshing and great to have first hand experience. She went above and beyond to source products when I enquired with interest and the personalised service and delivery has made me keen to offer this independent, family run and local business repeat business. A delightful selection of unique, different toys for children of all ages at reasonable prices and a great selection of products made from sustainable materials, which was particularly appealing when we are making an effort to have a greener Christmas and avoid buying cheap plastic toys that end up in landfill . I cant wait to see the look on my sons face and never mind him, Im excited to try the toys out too! Thank you so much!

Ordered online in my weak attempt to break the hegemony of the other retailer beginning with A. One day I hope to be able to visit the shop. Prompt delivery and even a handwritten thank you note enclosed, a lovely touch! This site will now be my go-to for girls' gifts.

Excellent customer service... They went to the effort of checking through loads of squeezy dinos in their warehouse to find a red triceratops for my child - a massive effort for a 4 toy. Absolutely recommend.
