Even if I have been asking for a bed despite having an serious infection the response has been insulting. even after the district nurses had a go at the usless staff. Also some of the staff are rude as well and there is a serious lack of support which as a result has left me with a month worth of dirty clothes. wonder HOW this place was allowed to be opened in the 1st place.

Not impressed at the moment, was lovely but standards of care have dropped dramatically. Needs a good overhaul, constant staff changes, no communication.

I actually live at this place and I am simply not impressed. I wasvyold that my room would be furnished but when I moved in this wasn't the case. Also the bed that I was given was in a poor state and have been complaining since day 1 but I have found out the complaints system to be a joke and now at current writing the bed is now broken and the staff have the cheek to tell me to buy another one and other things like wardrobes and cupboards but this is simply not possible as I am on benefits and it is difficult to cope without this sort of thing to worry about. I have seen a post saying that come residents need higher care I am no professional I actually agree and yes some of the staff does shout at some of the residents and do need basic trainingon HOW to respect. It is a struggle trying to work with these people. I feel so sorry for thel ocal residents who have to put up with this.. They even gave me a fridge in my room which FAILED in 2018 . I see some pictures of rooms being furnished so why mine wasn't that before I moved months ago.

This looked a nice place until a fire a couple of years ago where a resident lost their life. Staff seem to work hard, but don't seem to be trained well. This will be due to the management. For example, during the fire neighbours had to dial 999 as staff did not know the emergency number, you will also hear staff shouting at residents if you stay around, not surprising as some of the residents seem to need more help than this place offers. I.e. they need a higher level or different level of care. There are, at least, weekly attendance by the emergency services, usually after residents have attacked each other or staff with residents being taken to hospital by ambulance regularly. There is normally constant screaming and swearing coming from the property, broken windows boarded up, smashed furniture and soiled mattresses left out by overflowing bins. The manager at this time is never available and doesn't do what she says. Although there are some nice staff here the poor management and disregard for the community means there are a lot of neighbours upset with having to live with this situation on a daily basis.
