The removal team worked extremely hard to meet the completion deadline and I am very, very grateful for their dedication and for going above and beyond to help, hence the stars. Unfortunately, management hugely underestimated the time required to pack everything and so my family and I had to pack although I paid a lot of money for a full packing service. The lateness resulted in a very irate (understandably) new homeowner. Adding to an already extremely stressful time. We had damaged and missing goods. I was pleased management was helpful at first and offered to repair some items as a goodwill gesture but I'm still waiting - we moved in October 2022. When I call to chase I believe my number has now been blocked. Shame as this was the second time I had used this company and was a happy returning customer. Response to the owner - this is a very upsetting reply. Shame on you for blaming everything on the customer and using me as an excuse! Meticulously planned? - we lost 1 of the 3 man team for almost a day to get more boxes AND another van as the one you sent wasn't big enough. You were several hours late leaving the property not 30 minutes. It did take 72 hours but you had only allocated 48 hrs. Several frames/items were damaged/broken and some items are still missing. I replied to your email and chased again. I was waiting for you to arrange a collection. I'm very sorry your staff (and my family) had to put up with the new homeowner's bad behaviour. This is not acceptable and I have acknowledged their commitment in my review with very positive comments. As for allocating extra staff, one of the chaps called in a 'friend' to help. In the end, even the real estate agent was clearing the garden to help us leave. They will also not be referring you to any future customers. You will be pleased to hear I will not be pursuing repairs of any items and wish to now forget the whole dreadful experience. I had used this company before and was extremely happy to return. I have NEVER left a negative comment in a review but you forget I paid well over 3,000 for this service? I wish you all the very best. Kind regards,

H&E removals were first class. From the first meet right through to completion we felt in the right hands the whole way through. Good contact throughout the process and never a moment of doubt about H&E from the word go. Packing and move service was professional and quick. Team were friendly and couldnt help more, even on the day with those little extras that crop up. Very careful and considerate with the items of value. Highly recommended and will use again without doubt. Thanks

This organisation made our moving day worry free. From the time we booked their services until they closed our new front door nothing was too much trouble. The cost was very competitive, however, the individuals who 'moved us' were of premium quality. They worked hard, moving together as a team. They were well presented, communicated well, polite and careful and showed an overwhelming respect for our possessions. I would certainly have no reservations in recommending them and if I ever needed a removal company again they would be my first port of call.

We moved house on 28th September 2022 and the whole Herts and Essex team were brilliant. From the moment they arrived at our old house until the time they unloaded at our new one everything went well. Highly recommended!
