        Close to the town of Hastings yet sufficiently in the country, in fact this is part of Hastings County Park. Spectacular 360 views - bring binoculars if you can. No real parking as such but a rough area for approx half a dozen cars available. Very popular with dog walkers, for walks with a view or to simply look at the brass 'compass' plaque mapping various towns and landmarks at different points of the compass. Several footpaths lead off to Ore Village, Fairlight and the Firehills.
