Boulevard bookshop and Thai Cafe

Awful dining experience. I have been a few times before and always enjoyed the food. Starters good waited 20 mins for a coke. Ordered a Beef masaman curry. The beef was tough and dry and the sauce tasted nothing like a masaman. It was mostly paste with barely and sauce. I asked nicely if this could be changed and offered friendly feedback on why nothing bad just said it didn't taste like a masaman.(dry,tasted like paste bad rice) Ten minutes later an angry chef walked out accusing us of not knowing what we were tasting,telling us we where wrong and this is how she makes it. Went on and on and completely took us aback with quite a rude aggresive mannor.Ive worked in the food industry for 10 years and never have i been met with such behaviour from a chef before. Then they proceeded to charge us full price and the chef said we had eaten most of the dishes which in fact was not true maybe three bites max. In the end they took the two meals off after another argument with the woman. I am gob smacked and will never return. Beware if you don't like something you may be met by an angry chef. Also they pushed past to grab the money before we left to make sure we didn't run which was just insulting Such a shame. Very rude. Completely shocked by how we where treated.
