Incredibly talented artist with a high attention to detail, symmetry, and proportion. I have had multiple cover ups at Inkscape and Lou covered multiple large bold tattoos with intricate and detailed designs. Other studios will tell you such cover ups can't be done while Lou will work hard to make your designs a reality. I've wanted a tattoo for years & decided that this year was THE year! I did some research (Google, Facebook & trawling Instagram) & came across Lou's work at Inkscape & I fell in love with it! I popped in one day to check out the place & people; when I walked in, there were 2 clients, everyone smiled, the place was spotlessly clean, it was really friendly & chill, the music was good & the place was filled with artwork & interesting things to look at (distract myself with) so I knew I'd found the right place for me. Showed my ideas to Lou, she gave me a rough quote & booked in. I also got some numbing cream from her...which was a godsend! When the day came, as before, she was super. Open, friendly, explained everything. Checked ideas, sizing etc. Did the transfer & found the right placement first try. The actual inking was really smooth...thank you numbing cream!! I didn't feel anything for the first hour or so, & this was my first ever tattoo. Started to feel a bit of scratching after that & it got a bit ouchy for the last 15mins but nothing some deep breaths couldn't handle. Lou was friendly & really professional, checking my comfort level regularly. The numbness meant that she could just get on with the artwork & we took 1 short break midway. As a result, the whole process took just under 2hrs, which I was really impressed with for the size & style of the tattoo. I was given clear aftercare instructions, in person & sent in messenger, as well as photos. I absolutely LOVE my tattoo & I am so pleased I went with Inkscape for my experience. Got my first tattoo here today. Tattoo was a scar cover up which I was always wanting to get carefully tattooed over. Lou was incredible with the care and construction with building my tattoo over my scar and the result looks better than I ever could have imagined! Atmosphere was very relaxed, Lou and Ben were both kind and professional and I felt included in the entire process. Thank you so much again!! Just had an amazing cover up with Lou, the detail, intricacy and colour is brilliant. Communication with design was quick and very helpful, i absolutely love it
