So sad to see this wonderful sports facility cease to offer cricketing facilities. Hastings Councils ineptitude knows few bounds, but to take a purpose built multi-million pound sports facility supported and invested in by Sport England suggests a level of stupidity and short-sightedness that is beyond reprehensible. Questions should be asked ........... is there corruption at the root of this action or is it just gross ineptitude and or idiocy. How about it? council officers on the take? or are they just really stupid. Incidentally the alternate facility is useless, it's in the grounds of a school, it has restricted access poor facilities and a wicked and outfield requiring much investment. Lets challenge the councillors to come clean to their crimes or their ineptitude, its one or the other.
