Windmill Drive Post Office, Convenience Store & Cafe

How wonderful they were open today and had a phone to call and speak to a human! The gentleman was able to answer my query and I could post a card for collection today. So different to the useless Post Office website that gives you nothing that actually helps to answer such queries. Faceless and full of menu after menu or answerphone messages. Sadly the shop area looked almost empty - I hope this isn't on the condemned list - it's clearly been a jewel in the local community. Thank you.

Lovely post office and shop, Staff have always been helpful and pleasant. Open all through covid and as a regular customer I can see how hard they work there, with long hours and 7 days a week. It's a convenient shop and hope it continues to be. Thank you for your good service.

Great Post Office and chap behind the counter is efficient and polite. Some reviewers on here seem to hate him because he doesn't bow and scrape and pander to every pathetic little whim of these dolts. Well good on him. I don't want him to be my best friend I just want him to carry on doing what he does well.

Have visited lots of time mainly to use the post office service over many years. Christian has been at his counter tirelessly throughout the lockdown periods and outside of lockdown too. Well done and thank you for being a pillar of the community. Keep up the good work and I hope the tea shop side of your business will now pick up. We would be lost without this post office, very convenient and accessible with no parking restrictions or fees. Everyone needs to be kinder, we all know what it feels like to be under pressure from time to time, we can't always smile it out, after all we are humans with feelings.

Very helpful and nice American gentleman who helped me sort out my passport! Everything went through smoothly. The post office was crowded and he didn't rush me. Thank you for great service and I would recommend him and this post office to anyone!
