G A Pawnbrokers - Hastings

My wife and I visited the Hastings branch of G A Pawnbrokers in search of a charm bracelet. Some pawnbrokers do have all sorts of jewellery for sale which people have sold to them and usually at better prices than a jewellers. G A is one of those places which does have a fantastic choice of jewellery to fit every budget, so we eagerly went in to see what they had on offer. Withing a few minutes we were choosing a very nice charm bracelet and because they also sell separate charms we selected a few extra charms to go on the already busy bracelet. Sometimes ,if you are cheeky, you can ask if they have a better price as you are buying a few bits from them, so we just had to ask. There was none of the teeth sucking that some places will do, none of the "I am already cutting my own throat" nonsense. Instead the staff immediately said they would look to see what their best price would be, and we were absolutely delighted with the discount they were able to give. I will not state what we paid or the discount received because every sale will be different. But I can say that we will now become regular viewers of their jewellery and will be making more purchases from them in the near future. It was such a good shopping experience that I would recommend them to all and will happily return for more jewellery.

Went into the Hastings shop to look at buying a ring for my wife. Assistant was serving another customer - while I don't expect him to drop everything - I do not like being ignored. Why could the assistant just say - " Be with you in a minute" - it is what is called manners.
