After spending 6 years at Calvary Chapel Hastings, I cannot adequately express how much of a blessing this church has been to me. The congregation truly loves God and loves people, and had I not had to move away for work/visa reasons, I would still be there today. Whether you are a committed Christian or just interested in finding out more, know that you will be warmly welcomed here with both grace and truth.

I'm grateful for Calvary Chapel Hastings. A genuine church that loves the Lord and each other. Teaching is verse by verse, expect to see open bibles during the meeting and around 40 minutes in duration. Meetings are streamed to YouTube and Facebook, so easy to 'preview' before visiting. There is also a worship band of accomplished musicians. Style is guitar, percussion, keyboards and bass. The bass guitarist smiles. Always a good sign. There is a large Sunday school (Nursery, Key stage 1-3). There is also a small youth group. Calvary has a Wednesday evening Bible study . This again is verse by verse and either topical or from the Old Testament . There is also a live worship time and fellowship. This is hosted in The Lighthouse, Alma Villas. Fellowship is a big part of the meeting with good coffee and handmade cakes being available after the meetings and regular church meals together. The church has a large car park that is often full by 10.15. Please park responsibly in the neighbouring streets or use the local Asda car park (free for 2 hours). Most importantly this is a Church that preaches that Jesus Christ is truly man and truly God and that God raised Him from the dead and that He will return. I'm looking forward to welcoming you. A really great bible teaching church, with meaningful worship in Spirit and in truth and loving fellowship of all ages. Highly recommend this church if you have a hunger for real bible teaching and opportunities for spiritual maturity.

I love this Church. A sincere, family atmosphere, in which the Word of God is taught through each book, bit by bit, leaving no stone unturned. It is clear to see the teachings made manifest into the members of the congregation, as we endeavour to grow in faith, love and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, conforming into His image. I feel very blessed to have found this Church, who represent Christ's body united. Hallelujah!
