Customer service not their strong point. Received a quote which was more than I expected, I replied and said I was thinking about it, more expensive than I thought but would like a sample. No reply so called and was told because its too expensive for me they didnt bother to reply. Would have been happy to look at something else but not now. Obviously so busy can afford not to be bothered!

After a great fitting appointment with John who gave a wonderful first impression of the company they took our deposit, then couldn't actually get the product we'd ordered into stock, despite being fully aware of the time frames we needed to work to. They talked us into taking a similar product that they had in stock instead, which was a convenience for them rather than us, and with hindsight we should have refused. From the moment they took our balance payment things went even further down hill. There was a horrific lack of communication, with three cancelled and rebooked fittings. On the day the fitters didn't arrive at 8am when they said they would, eventually turning up at gone 3pm to do a six hour job. No word of an apology or explanation. They argued amongst themselves at volume for the duration of the fitting, which was worrying in itself. They seemed to have no idea which section of quartz went where and as they were about to give up I spotted that they were trying to fit the section with the hob cut out where the sink should be... Amongst this farce they managed to gouge a huge chunk out of our freshly plastered and professionally decorated window reveal, which will never look the same again even having been repaired (at our own cost, despite asking to be compensated for this it has not been forthcoming) and badly damaging our brand new, as yet unused integrated dishwasher door costing us more money to replace as apparently Avi can't take responsibility for that either... I would advise you not to pay for the professional sink fitting, it looks like the underneath of a chewing gum encrusted secondary school desk and is not worth the fee we paid. To add insult to injury we noticed upon completion that our Peninsular Island has been cut 8mm too short meaning it doesn't even reach the wall, having been really specific about how this was to be measured, cut and fitted. I have today been told that they are replacing this 'as a gesture of goodwill', which has absolutely infuriated me! It's being replaced because they measured / cut it incorrectly, and we've waited two months for this to be put right!! This is not a 'gesture of goodwill', this is you doing what you were paid to do from the outset. Marble 2 Marvel showed no interest in putting anything right themselves and wanted to send their fitters back to assess everything - we weren't happy arguing this out with subcontractors who speak very little English, when we had paid M2M for the work. It took days of emails back and forth to get Avi to deal with this himself, and then when he did eventually agree to visit site he was condescending, patronising, and bordering on aggressive with us. We are now, two months on, expecting our refitted bar to arrive today but at gone 1pm having been told we were the first job of the day, the fitters haven't bothered to turn up yet. I am left a bit terrified at the state they will leave our (now beautifully finished) kitchen in, as I already know I will be fobbed off and ignored if I have any cause to complain. I love supporting small businesses and was determined to find someone local and independent to use for this project rather than give our money to the big guys. It turns out this is a small business to avoid at all costs. The stress and upset that this has caused us has been horrendous, and will sadly forever taint the wonderful 'new kitchen' feeling we were so looking forward to. At the time of leaving this review we are incredibly dissatisfied having paid over 3.5k for a substandard job and appalling customer service. It has tainted the entire project for us. If at any point the fitters turn up and rectify the mess our kitchen has been left in, or M2M do something to compensate us for the complete nightmare we have endured since we began dealing with them in June I will of course update this review accordingly. The one star I have had to leave can go to John, who was a pleasure to deal with and ultimately was the convincer we needed to go with M2M... The fitters were lovely, despite the issues we have had.
