Firstly, in case you have you wrong impression, this is not a firm of solicitors, plural, as you might expect from the name: it's a sole practitioner. That's right: only one solicitor works there - you can check this on the Law Society's website. Secondly, the opening hours are stated incorrectly. They should be 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. Don't waste your money trying to phone outside the hours of 10am to 2pm as you will get the answering machine. Thirdly, the Law Society's website states the firm's areas of practice are: 1. Landlord and Tenant; 2. Litigation; 3. Wills; 4. Probate; 5. Commercial Property and 6. Residental Conveyancing. In fact the only area of practice that this firm does is residential conveyancing. If you don't believe me, ring them up and ask them if they can do your will. The answer will be "No, we don't do that". Take a tip from me and don't waste your time enquiring about other areas of work. Honesty matters when selecting a firm you are considering instructing and especially so if that firm is a law firm. Based on what I have said, it should be obvious that this lawyer is not being straight with the general public and on that basis I suggest you steer clear.
