Very disappointed. Shame because we were with visitors to Hastings and we raved to them about Munchies. Sunday 2nd April 2023. Waited 25mins . The lady serving told me she doesn't know how to do the whippy 99s. Other lady declined to help her as she was so busy herself. I use Munchies regularly, weekly, as it has spectacular ice creams. On this occasion a tiny shapeless amount of whipped ice cream in the cone. Then squashed to an unattractive mess by dipping in the nuts. All the ice creams we bought were similar.

I dont normally bother with reviews but I really feel I need to for this establishment. Visited for the day after holidaying nearby for the week. Decided on this cute little ice cream shop and had some lovely ice creams. Went to sit down and after a couple of mouthfuls, my 5 year old accidentally dropped his on the floor. I went back over to ask for another pot as I was going to share out his 2 year old brothers (as another bonus is they are big portions). Not only did the man not even hesitate to get this, he asked me which ice cream it was and gave me a whole new EXACT ice cream free of charge. Its the little kind gestures like this that keep local businesses open in my eyes. We will definitely be coming back!
