Rooms: The double room was an adequate size for 2 people. Safety: The hotel and area felt very safe. Walkability: This place seemed very walkable. Only a couple minute walk to the train station, to the sea, just around the corner for great restaurants if you are not dining in the hotel. About a 5 minute walk to De La Warr Pavilion. Food & drinks: The breakfast was very good. The staff was very accommodating with a request for vegan/GF option.

Stayed there many times, and it's real value for money. GTRight bye the beach. The rooms are clean and ok for the price. When I compare 60 per night with the cooden beach 140 per night for basically comparable rooms there's no contest.Shure there's a few extra things like a bar,(expensive)but just a very short stroll from the Northern is everything you could need at good prices.Very friendly staff and lovely breakfast.A must visit.

In the very best way possible, this is an old-fashioned hotel by the sea doing things very well. Excellent service, meticulously clean rooms, solid breakfast. Additionally very good value at 69 a night for a well-appointed single room. Everything was very well run and organised, with lots of thoughtful touches. The staff were superb and there was a kipper for breakfast. Couldn't have been happier with my stay here.
