First off the place has rebranded to Beachcombers. Which is very confusing as they haven't updated anything online and you can't find them on apps like Booksy. Secondly they have also redecorated to give it a nautical theme which looks a bit shabby in my opinion. My stylist was Rachel and in fairness for a Junior stylist she did ok. However when washing my hair she splashed me multiple times and my face got quite wet - something I didn't experience at other places. Then the cutting went well but it took a good 45 minutes, which whilst I have long hair is understandable this is a lot longer than usual. Then the drying this was a horrible experience as it was very painful. She took little care when blow drying it and she used the brush in such a way it inevitably got tangled. This cost me 25 a bit dear for so mush haste and pain.

I do enjoy visiting MJM. Michelle is very skilled in cutting my hair and the other clients who have more complicated processes seem happy. The atmosphere is both relaxing and energizing.
