Both the receptionist and doctor were absolutely outstanding in ensuring my daughter was able to get the neccesary treatment and triage despite my children being 50 miles away staying with me during holidays. I was extremely delighted at how they handled it with both care and putting my daughter first to ensure she could get a much needed prescription despite not being near surgery. Thank you very much

I might as well have a doctors surgery at the end of the earth rather than the end of the road!!!! Havent been able to get a face to face appointment since covid. I have certainly spent up to half an hour trying to get appointments. Ive also gone to A&E on the advice of a phone conversation with a doctor. Have resorted to private treatment at times. Anyone know of a good doctors surgery? I think that it is time for a change!!!!

Update: after leaving a one-star review, I have changed my rating to reflect the care and attention of the nurse I visited today and the GP with whom I spoke on the phone. The clinical team are doing their level best but the booking system is atrocious and the gatekeeping/triage failed me and necessitated follow up calls from hospital teams on my behalf. I hate to post anything negative because I admire, and am grateful for, all the healthcare professionals working their hardest in Hastings and across the whole NHS, trying to hold together a woefully underfunded system, and having to strike to be heard. But I also think we need to be real about the impact on patients day to day of our crumbling system. Seeing it locally makes it very real.
