Called this morning got a call back quite quick actually which appreciated. Then I was told even though I've had a flu for 2 months they cannot help me because I'm with child and to refer myself to a midwife... What has a midwife got anything to do with the flu. (I've self referred myself.) Anyway so I was told the reason the cant help is because no flu tablets are safe for a pregnant women Acetaminophen (Tylenol) Safe during the entire pregnancy. Take only as needed. ... Pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) Safe in the second and third trimester. ... Chlorpheniramine (Chlor-Trimeton) Safe during pregnancy. ... Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) Safe throughout pregnancy. Those are thought And yes 95% of them I can probably pop in asda... but here's the funny thing Yes the address I have down at the doctors is my mums. But I domt live there I'm homeless with my partner so I dont have the money to go on tablets unless of course I dont want to eat?. Yes the doctors dont know this but why can a pregnant woman with the flu who has had the flu for 2 months be helped? I suggest if anyone to become pregnant change doctors

We have been with this practice for almost 16years and have found it to be excellent! The staff are very caring and will go that extra mile to solve any concerns that you might have. Having had experiences of other NHS Trusts, this trust outshines them all.

It's the worst gp surgery I had 'pleasure' to be a patient at along with my child. My daughter was diagnosed with life threatening life long disability in January 2022. Since then she needs a monthly supply of testing kit, needles and medications. She's still a minor and I have to deal with the surgery myself. All the prescription requests were sent from hospital by the specialist team. There wasn't a single prescription surgery sent to pharmacy that was right. I've run out of things that keep my child alive and had to buy them myself as prescription was incorrect and it took 2 weeks to get what we needed !! That's every month !! Receptionists .... it's like a Russian roulette. There's one lady that is polite and kind and helpful and respect other people. The rest...my goodness. They are in the wrong profession. Empathy is non existent. Professionalism is non existent. Takes a month to see a GP ( 2 weeks to have a phone call and another 2 weeks to be seen in person, considering I'll need a CBC - Blood check and quite possibly an x-ray, I'm wondering when exactly I'll get a physical help while my body is getting worse and I'm daily in pain ). I feel for other people that rely on this surgery. Seems like they took too many people as patients just to get money from NHS and they cannot cope now with the workload. Reception staff needs training !! To learn at least basics.
