St. George's Road Dental Practice

The best dental practice! I have a son with a disability and nothing but great care and understanding of his disability has ever been shown, he is also extremely nervous of the dentist through past experience but dr Ambrose has always gone above and beyond to help him feel comfortable and at ease. My other children have always been ok with going to see Dr Ambrose which makes a trip to the dentist a lot less stressful as Dr Ambrose always explains what he is going to do and has so much patience with the children. I cant thank you enough for all the dentist appointments that have been a pleasure Thank you

I broke a 35 year old front crown .Ambrose an his dental nurse will only ever be the two people to see me without a front tooth . I love this man iv total trust in him .we have a laugh an joke ....but truthfully he really does understand my daft ways highly recommend him

Awful treatment by this practise completley discriminated against an asd child causing the child to have a meltdown then told we wasted there time! Joke of a dentist avoid if you want to take your kids there! No care what so ever Dr ambrose is a nasty vendictive man who holds grudges against children then removes them from his books! Thanks for your untrue response and the letter detailing that I didn't even intervene with my child when challenging behaviour was shown is a load of rubbish, this is a true reflection of yourselves it's disgusting and I will be taking it to the ombudsman disgusting the way we have all been treated and my other child to be struck off aswell is awful total unfair treatment you did not take my sons disability on board at all! And to say despite your best efforts!? No effort was made what so ever to accomadate my son!

One star for the unkind behaviour of this dentist. I was due to have treatment- treatment I'd waited 5 months for since having a check up. Unfortunately I got covid three days before my appointment, a really nasty snotty covid so I phoned the day before my appointment to cancel. I was told they would be in touch to organise another... Waited a week then called up to be told I'd been removed from the dentists list, apparently having covid is no longer considered a good enough reason to cancel! I was told this only after I pushed for more of an explanation. Dentist at this practice could well be amazing but I think people should be aware about their policy regarding appointments. *Edit to respond to the comment below. I have never missed an appointment with this dentist. I have never been violent or abusive. Why not just be honest you are scrubbing people off your list almost on a whim (i've been chatting to people locally who can corroborate this) Really hope that by complaining someone else doesn't get the same treatment.
