On hold for over an hour ... no information on where i am in the que but its got to the point where im treating it like a competion! i'll be here all day if i need to!

The lack of response to the several calls I have today made is shocking. I left my phone on loudspeaker waiting for an answer for over 45 minutes. I have yet to get through. This organisation is hopeless and the ridiculous state of affairs, for a government office isn't fit for purpose.

5 STARS ***** For Mark Adams himself Elderly and new to the area I tried countless times to contact Rother Council by telephone literally for days without success, with calls just ringing out - NOTHING Desperate for help I went into the Town Hall itself, where I was incredibly fortunate to find Mark Adams, who went out of his way to help, a by this time very distraught, stressed out me, find my way through everything, in the kindest most helpful, human and efficient way. Thank you so much for all your help Mark, it meant a great deal to me to finally be able to deal with a human being and not be forced to try and find my way through things I really do not understand on line. There are many very elderly people out there not brought up with computers who need real help. Sadly I cannot offer any stars for the Council's seemingly non- existent telephone 'service' system.
